The evolution of Pooky's gameplay
In this new update, League Passes are set to replace Pookyballs. This change signifies an exciting shift in the game mechanics, where League Passes will offer players unlimited predictions within their chosen league, improving the overall gameplay experience.
To assist in a smooth & fair transition, current assets will be carefully valued taking not only primary marketplace value into account but also players’ progression. This asset valuation will then be redeemable by players once the marketplace updates allowing players to freely spend and buy desired assets. The marketplace update & asset valuation will take place in August 2024.

To estimate the value of an asset we take into account 3 factors:
Genesis Pookyballs will get an additional 10% valuation.
Every player will have their collection valued in August 2024, at which point players will receive the total value of their assets in the Pro League launching in the new mobile app. That amount issued in USD will be freely available to spend in the new marketplace. The exact date of the snapshot is yet to be confirmed.
To make it transparent, we've built a simulator to help players make a precise projection, allowing them to plan their progression over the next months before the snapshot takes place.
At max level, a Pookyball or Sticker will see its primary marketplace value multiplied by 1.5x. This takes into account the PXP earned as well as the POK spent to reach a certain level.

Here's a breakdown of the asset valuations comparing initial cost to max level cost:
Given purchased energy does not have a levelling system, it will just be valued at primary marketplace value.
For ascended assets, we'll simply take the primary marketplace and progression value into account.
To offer some context, if a player ascended 2 Legendary Pookyballs of the same league into a Mythic, his initial cost was $3680 (2x $1600 + $480 ascension fee) but his ascended Mythic ball will be valued at $6400. That’s $2720 more than his actual cost.
Important: Unspent POK won’t carry-over. The only way to value POK is to spend it on your Pookyballs & Stickers, ahead of the asset valuation.

The valuation is made in $USD and will be will be credited to the players account. This amount will only be spendable within Pooky Games, without direct possibilities of being cashed out.
